Is my company affected by NIS2?
That depends on the sector, size and turnover, among other things. A first orientation is provided by the official NIS-2 impact check by the German BSI (in German) – according to the BSI, the result is not legally binding. Applicability is checked together at the start.
Does this replace legal advice?
No. The advice is technical; legal questions should be clarified with a legal adviser.
Where should one start?
With an assessment: many measures are often already partly in place and only need to be completed and documented.
