Vulnerability Scans

Systems are technically checked for known vulnerabilities – with a clear report and concrete recommendations.

Scope of services

Finding gaps before others do.

Findings are prioritised by risk so the most important measures come first. A follow-up scan shows whether the gaps have been closed.

  1. Scans of internal and externally reachable systems
  2. Report prioritised by risk
  3. Remediation recommendations
  4. Verification scan after remediation
  5. IT security check of the existing environment
  6. Penetration tests in cooperation with a specialised partner

Process

How it works.

01

Define scope

The systems and addresses to be tested are agreed together.

02

Scan

Internal and externally reachable systems are checked for known vulnerabilities.

03

Report

Results are sorted by risk and explained clearly.

04

Remediation & check

After remediation, a follow-up scan confirms success.

Benefits

What you gain.

Clear priorities

Critical gaps are closed first.

Outside view

It becomes visible what an attacker can reach from the internet.

Measurable progress

Follow-up scans show that measures are working.

FAQ

Good to know.

Does a scan disrupt operations?

Scans are agreed in advance and carried out so that operations are affected as little as possible. Sensitive systems can be excluded or checked outside business hours.

How does this differ from a penetration test?

A vulnerability scan automatically searches for known weaknesses. A penetration test goes further and actively tries to exploit them – it is carried out with a specialised partner.

How often should scans be run?

Regular scans are advisable, plus additional checks after major changes to the infrastructure.
